Lysande (pronounced "liss-ONDH") caught up with blogger, influencer, model, and dynamo Stefani Nicole last week as she arrived in NYC for New York Fashion Week's Curvy Con - no joke, we were her first appointment after landing in the Big Apple! Stefani is living the Lysande lifestyle: traveling the world, spreading messages of love and body positivity, and expressing herself through bold style. We joined her and her squad on a walk from the Grand Central Terminal to Bryant Park, hitting a few of Manhattan's most iconic landmarks.
It was easy to pick Lysande's Limited Edition "Read Between the Lines" wire-framed headwrap for Stefani because it contrasts perfectly with her dirty blonde locks. Her brocade pants and shoes (OH HEY!) set the tone for her look - edgy elegance - topped off with the elegant side braid and Lysande's striped headwrap styled over her hair to give that edgy final touch. A pure, pattern mixing win (stripes and florals are always a good bet!) . Stefani's royal blue cardigan tied the look together!
Lysande: Where do you find style inspiration?
Stefani: My style inspiration comes from everywhere: Pinterest, Instagram, but what inspires me most is my own closet! I love the challenge in making a particular outfit look entirely different than the last time I wore it!
Lysande: What does Lysande mean to you?
Stefani: Lysande to me means beautiful, pain-free hair accessories! They add the perfect spice to every look! I use my Lysande pieces at work almost every day. When I'm in a hurry they help me look pulled together and when I have time to do my hair they help me look and feel extra!
Lysande: Do you have any takeaways or messages of inspiration and body positivity from Curvy Con that you'd like to share with our readers?
Stefani: As a body positive babe advocating for people everywhere to love themselves where they are at it’s so fun to find companies who help you feel your best! Lysande helps me put my best foot forward. I mean who doesn’t want headache free comfy headwear?
